Characteristics of the pieces:
The audiovisual pieces will have a maximum duration of 3 minutes and 20megas: AVI, MOV, SWF, MPEG formats.

Fito Rodríguez will present the works of "intervenciones.tv" for Madrid Abierto project

A Fundación Rodríguez project.
The "Intervenciones TV" project proposes the televisual medium and the television on the Internet as a platform for proposals in audiovisual creation. Reflections about televisual language, slots of an advertising or experimental nature, questioning the medium and its message, surprise inserts in programmes, on the Net, on the screen.
1. The theme
The main theme for this, the eighth, edition of “Intervenciones TV” is: “Television: a public space or private one”.
2. The pieces.
The set of pieces will have a maximum duration of 3 minutes, maximum 1 minute per piece.

3. Awards:
- 4 The invited artists: 500 euros each.
- 4 authors selected: 500 euros each

4. Period and presentation:
Productions can be sent to from the 16th to the 31st of may, 2007 until 20:00.

5. Collaboration with "Madrid Abierto"
The selected pieces may be broadcast within the Canal Metro circuit of Madrid, within the public art programme, “Madrid Abierto”, during the month of February 2008 and, in which case, each author will receive 500 euros.
A direct copy of the master of these works will form part of the public records archive collection of “Madrid Abierto”, with their possible posting for no profit-making purposes, on the website, www.madridabierto.com, on prior agreement with the authors.
Prizes:
4.500 € for video works with no more than 2 minutes and 10 Mb.

- Limit the set of remitted videos to a total of 2 minutes and 5 megas.
3. Prizes:
- 4 invited artists: 500 euros each.
- 4 authors selected: 500 euros each .
- 1 author/ess by popular voting: 500 euros.
